Resumo das funções:
Working closely with the Artistic Director, the Assistant Curator will be responsible for assisting and managing all curatorial related activities at Tanoto Art Foundation. The position will also provide support in researching and managing the collection. With a focus on managing public talks, conducting research and writing on artists, interpreting and presenting artworks to the public, the Assistant Curator will play an important role in shaping the audience engagement with the Foundation’s programming.Responsabilidades:

Under the guidance of senior team members, the Assistant Curator will provide support in research, conceptualizing, planning, production and execution of projects. As part of the curatorial team, manage the budget and schedules of projects. This includes obtaining estimates, sourcing external suppliers, acquiring accurate quotes, and contracting new and existing suppliers and freelancers to support production and installation processes. Facilitate the collaboration and communication with artists for various activities. Opportunity to propose exhibition ideas and conceive original programming under the direction and guidance of Artistic Director and Executive Director.Requisitos:
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in contemporary art, graphic design, media or related fields. Master’s Degree is a plus. Relevant research and experience in curation, collections and exhibitions. Active interest in contemporary art and visual culture practices in Singapore, Asia and internationally. Excellent research, writing, communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English. Fluency in another language is a plus. Good project management and organizational skills. Attentive to details and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
