Our Infrastructure team provides end-to-end managed services and solutions for the Group's entire Internet infrastructure alongside running business applications. We excel in building the architecture, providing solutions and operations of the data center, connectivity, cloud, networking, system, storage, and security. We proudly provide high-quality and stable running business applications and services to our internal business units.

The Cloud Operation Engineer is on a mission to manage all cloud resources in Sea Group. As a Cloud Operation Engineer, you will be carrying out proactive operations activities to ensure internal users receive efficient support on our cloud infrastructure.


Job Description
Work closely with public cloud and managed service providers to deliver the projects requested from internal business units.Clarify cloud requirements with internal business units, provide solution architecture and cost estimation, and implement the solution after budget approval.Manage and monitor cloud accounts from a technical perspective, performance monitoring, and operations on cloud infrastructure across the region.Work with our internal security team to manage and monitor the cloud resources base on their requirements.Process internal troubleshooting tickets, and provide 2nd level escalation support to troubleshoot and solve challenging operational issues in a complex environment.Build and maintain the inventory of cloud resources through cloud API.Liaise with providers and internal business units for problem resolution and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related subject.Proven working experience in cloud operations with a strong customer focus.Proven hands-on experience on the Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of Google Cloud security service.Good understanding of networking and routing fundamentals, common network equipment, network protocols, and network operations & maintenance. Experience with UNIX/LINUX system, including hands-on experience in system configuration and troubleshooting. Being RHCSA/RHCE certified is a plus.Experience with VMware, OpenStack, or other Open source technologies is a plus.Experience in container management and orchestration tools such as Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with GKE is a big plus.Familiar with Terraform/Ansible, and Python/Go programming knowledge is a plus.Passionate in technology and eager to learn further.Excellent communication skills and people skills with a focus on cross-team collaboration.Proficient in both English and Mandarin due to regional coverage.
