Senior_Research Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide technical support and conduct process trials/experiments for both research and industry projects. Be an integral member of a metal casting team involving the operation of heavy machinery. Conduct materials characterization and testing. Engage with industry partners, customers and research collaborators to develop and execute plans. Provide timely project update and reports to team members, collaborators, and sponsors. Perform other ad-hoc roles / tasks as required / assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor?s degree in mechanical engineering / Materials Science and Engineering. Experience and knowledge in metallurgy, metal solidification and behaviour. Knowledge with CAD or SolidWorks is preferred but not required. Experience in an R&D environment or related industry is preferred but not required.
