Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.
The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be responsible for driving the workstreams for the Interco / Cross Border Billing process journey covering costs related to Technology, Operations & Support functions.. You will identify areas of process improvement, as well as opportunities to improve efficiencies in the processes. Through evaluating and interpreting data and existing processes, you will apply critical thinking skills in the design and creation of new processes and products which embed the right level of risk management and scope management.
Having a good understanding and knowledge of financial operations and frameworks for cross border re-charges, accounting and finance processes and eager to drive relevant digital and innovative solutions will be highly critical.
You will utilize knowledge and experience in business transformation, process improvement and project management to come up with process assessments, analysis, presentations, develop process flows and future state roadmaps and ensuring proper documentation of findings and recommendations. You will manage the book of work, monitor and ensure deliverables are met as part of the overall execution.
Requirements
Experience & Competencies
CA/CPA/ACCA qualified. At least 10 years of experience in banking technology finance, including proven track record inleading change, process improvement and transformation. Industry exposure or tertiary qualification in project management, AGILE delivery, Journey and design thinking are essential. Possess strong understanding of IFRS and accounting, finance and technology processes across functions / departments in the bank. Deeply data driven with the ability to work with large data. Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment with transformation at the centre. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Highly proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Problem solving and analytics skills
