[What the role is]

Successful candidates will be involved in the teaching of full time (PET) and part time (CET) polytechnic students for various diplomas in School of Applied Science.

[What you will be working on]

Successful candidates will facilitate content delivery according to syllabus, involve in assessment preparation and marking as well as administrative support related to teaching.

They are also expected to manage digital platforms such as the Learning Management System (LMS), execute interactive digital tools (e.g. Kahoot, Mentimeter) and conduct online lessons using Zoom / Teams etc.

[What we are looking for]

Candidates should possess either one of the following qualifications or its equivalent with relevant work experience.

Science related qualification Chemical engineering related qualification Food science & nutrition related qualification

Those with experience in one or more of the areas listed below are preferred:

Common Science Program

Data & Statistical Methods Biochemistry & Laboratory Skills Physical & Inorganic Chemistry Mathematics (Calculus) Basic process knowledge related to pressure, heat transfer and instrumentation

Chemical & Process Technology Program

Chemical engineering fundamentals Process operations and optimisation (petrochemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing) Water & wastewater treatment Energy management & optimisation

Food Science & Nutrition Program

Applied Nutrition Food Chemistry & Ingredient Applications Food Processing Food Safety & Food Microbiology

It will be an advantage if the candidates are proficient in digital skills and have prior teaching experience.
