Purpose

As a member of the Group IT Architecture Team, you will be responsible for solutioning, design and the execution of solutions with guaranteed fit-for-use, scalability, consistency, rationalisation, optimisation, and continuation while maintaining the IT architectural directives and standards. Your activities will be focused on Cloud projects but expect to be assigned as a solution architecture owner for other Group IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

Define the architecture of new projects or important IT evolutions in agreement with the architecture and operability standards. Deliver position papers to decide between several Architecture options Define the Information Technology architecture standards (applications, infrastructure, data, integration, security) Develop broad knowledge about current “AS-IS” and future “TO-BE” product features Work with Project and Product Managers in planning and execution projects and product releases Work with product delivery teams in the solution engineering efforts Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge Carry out regular technology scans and propose solutions on technology innovations

Requirements

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science

Professional Background

10+ years of working experience as an IT professional, with proven experience preferred in IT solution architecture 5+ years technical lead role in one or more of enterprise solutions, data, integration, infrastructure architecture and design 5+ years’ lead role in:Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Virtual Machines, Storage and ContainerAzure Services: Microsoft365, Active Directory Azure Policies, Governance, Scaling and Monitoring Azure and TOGAF certification preferable Experience in the practical application of products, application frameworks and design patterns to realize architecture solutions Experience with working in cross-functional teams and leading offshore outsourced development and support

Technical Skills

Experience in IT products and deployment environments, including server, desktop, mobile and embedded platforms Resourceful in all levels of architecture, design, and implementation Wide knowledge and hands on experience in:Azure Cloud Application Development and Microsoft365 enterprise deploymentsApplication Development Technologies like: Java 8, J2EE, C#/ASP, .NET, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Angular, Node.js, WSO2, Tomcat, Jetty, Websphere Application ServersDatabase Technologies like: IBM DB2, MS SQL Server, MySQLDevOps like : SVN, Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube Architecture & Design modelling with architecture modelling tools
