Job Description
The client is a global aerospace component manufacturer that is growing its presence in the region. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Guide the Engineering team to ensure swift operational support and resolution of technical issues.
  • Monitor engineering processes to meet project timelines, budget constraints, and client technical standards.
  • Strategize, coordinate, and guide the engineering personnel to offer prompt technical assistance to sales, production, and quality departments, fulfilling company goals.
  • Evaluate new project prospects and conduct precise technical cost analyses to enhance the likelihood of securing contracts.
  • Propel the Engineering team to expedite the introduction of new products, capitalizing on concurrent engineering as a principal competitive advantage.
  • Champion the Engineering team in augmenting product margins by refining manufacturing methods.
  • Steer the Engineering team in the transfer of products or processes from different business divisions.
  • Stay informed of cutting-edge or evolving technologies and lead the charge in business innovation.
  • Facilitate the transition of products and processes to regional manufacturing centers. 
  • Mentor, train, and cultivate a team of Manufacturing Engineers to achieve peak performance and uphold standards of excellence.
  • Employ Leadership Effectiveness (EI) to energize, inspire, and lead more efficiently.
  • Synchronize the Engineering team with the firm’s requirements for promptness, knowledge preservation, and operational sustainability.


Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Engineering within a manufacturing setting, ideally in the aerospace/metal machining/precision engineering sectors.
  • Proficient in machining, brazing, stamping, and heat treatment processes. Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is an advantage.
  • Proven grasp of material engineering and technology administration in the manufacturing industry.
  • Established record of leadership effectiveness (EI) within a dynamic production environment.
  • Robust capabilities in technical troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record of clear and influential communication across all levels of an organization.


Requirements
Degree in Engineering A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Engineering within a manufacturing setting, ideally in the aerospace/metal machining/precision engineering sectors.
