Primary Purpose: The position is responsible for supporting the Global Trade & Customs (GTC) function in managing the trade compliance activities of the Singapore Regional Fulfillment Centre (SG RFC) to successfully support Tapestry’s strategy and business growth. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improve compliance programs in support of Tapestry’s trade and duty saving activities.

Support daily activities of the SG RFC by working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance of daily import/ export/ duty saving activities Support global duty saving program activities: Free Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin compliance between SPs, brokers and destination markets Deal with daily Free Trade Agreement certificate related issue raised from broker or SP and escalate to related party to solve. Oversee and improve SP and broker’s performance to ensure all the asked documents and certificate available on time and accurate to allow duty saving goal to be met. Provide support for internal and external auditing of duty saving program activities and documents Conduct KPI and other reporting regarding to customs and trade compliance Report duty saving figures monthly to leadership Provide assistance on other trade compliance activities: Conduct HS code classifications. Conduct regulatory research to enhance customs and trade compliance processes Be capable of using systems (IP/ ecV) to complete daily operation work. Assist and maintain KPIs Maintenance and enhancement of processes and procedures on regulated trade activities (imports, exports, trade programs)
