Your day at NTT DATA

The BIM Director has in-depth knowledge of BIM technologies and methodologies, including advanced modeling techniques, clash detection, and data management.

What you'll be doing

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is usually required.Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s in Architecture, Engineering Management) or specialized certifications in BIM, project management, or related areas (such as PMP, LEED) can enhance qualifications.

Work Experience:

10+ years of progressively responsible experience in BIM management or leadership roles, particularly in large-scale, complex projects.Significant experience in developing and executing BIM strategies and policies at an organizational level.A strong portfolio of completed projects that demonstrate successful BIM implementation and management.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of BIM technologies and methodologies, including advanced modeling techniques, clash detection, and data management.

Leadership and Management Skills:

Proven leadership experience in managing diverse teams, including BIM professionals, architects, engineers, and consultants.Experience in mentoring and developing staff to enhance their BIM capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
