ETF Dealer

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team at Phillip Capital Management. In this position as Dealer cum being a member of the ETF support team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our trading activities for the firm. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the financial markets within a well established buy-side firm. Working with the senior members of the investment and dealing team, your responsibilities include:

Trade Execution : Assist in executing trades on behalf of the firm in its range of asset class exposures. You would also work with the operations team to ensure proper trade settlement. Liquidity sourcing : You would learn to use various platforms to source liquidity pools in order to facilitate best execution. Compliance : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during trading activities. Working with the ETF team in daily and regular processes for the ETFs under the firm, such as calculations required for ETF subscription/redemptions, and for index rebalancings. As part of support for our firm’s range of ETF products, you may also be required to provide ongoing research and insights on ETF markets, and compile performance data and reports for routine reporting. You would have the chance to help develop new products in this space.

Requirements:

Excellent academic qualifications in any discipline and passion for investing. Interest in the investing discipline expressed through current pursuit of programs such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program would be favourably viewed Working experience in dealing/trading, asset management, investment banking and/or related fields would be an advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills, self driven and able to work well within diverse teams and collaborate across multiple stakeholders
