KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the business processes and partner with relevant stakeholders, including solution architects, software developers and end users, to gather requirements and support system design, application development, enhancement and maintenance
- Work closely with various technical, solution, and information architects to ensure that the application developed is robust and aligned with the Enterprise Architecture
- Design solutions that are high quality and functional, ensuring a good user experience
- Plan, track and manage application system enhancements and maintenance activities to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Conduct and support thorough system, user, and security testing pre-release
- Provide ongoing application support and work with product and engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues
- Monitor application performance and service reliability, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address issues in the production environment
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Technical experience in application system development, enhancement and maintenance across the system development lifecycle
- Experience in planning and delivering application development and maintenance work with cross-functional product teams and technical teams
- Hands-on experience in Java application design, development, enhancement and maintenance; knowledge of JavaScript and SQL is a plus
- Experience in leading and managing a team of developers, including work planning, task allocation, technical guidance, progress monitoring and delivery oversight
- Proven track record of delivering effective products with limited resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including system documentation and technical writing
- Highly meticulous and tenacious, with the ability to follow through on tasks to closure
- Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, and to prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines
- A degree or diploma in computer science, product management, or a related field
- Experience with platforms such as Confluence and JIRA is a plus
- Certifications in Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis Professional are a plus
