Role Overview

This is a broad, end-to-end generalist role for someone who enjoys the hunt of recruiting while also comfortably handling day-to-day HR partnering and core HR operations. Talent acquisition is the key part of the role, but you'll also be a familiar, approachable point of contact for the team and keep essential HR processes running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, self-directed, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across functions — from intake and role calibration through to sourcing, interviewing, offer, and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, agree on search strategy, and calibrate candidates throughout the process
  • Proactively source candidates through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and multiple channels and platforms, conduct candidate interviews and make recommendations based on both capabilities and culture
  • Conduct talent mapping and build and maintain talent pipelines for specialized and senior roles across the region
  • Track pipeline progress and hiring metrics, can propose hiring directions and ideal profiles based on both market intelligence and business requirements, and make sure all hiring needs to be completed on time.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employees and managers on routine people matters
  • Deliver onboarding orientation for new hires and run the associated compliance checks and documentation
  • Help keep HR records, documentation, and processes in good order as the organization scales

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above; a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is a plus
  • At least 5 years of HR experience with a strong track record in end-to-end recruitment, in-depth understanding of business metrics and talent market intelligence in traditional finance industry is a must.
  • Solid working knowledge of employment law and HR practices across APAC, with a particular emphasis on Hong Kong alongside Singapore
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work with senior hiring managers
  • Hands-on, self-directed, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Candidates from top executive search firms with a genuine interest in learning the Web3 / digital assets space are also welcome
