APP Engineering Pte Ltd is an established M&E contractor in Singapore, providing integrated Mechanical & Electrical engineering services across Commercial, Infrastructure, Institutional, Residential and Industrial projects.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager to lead and oversee the Company's Finance & Accounts function, working closely with Management to strengthen financial governance, operational efficiency and business performance.
Supported by an experienced Finance team, the successful candidate will provide financial leadership and oversight across financial and management reporting, project financial performance, cash flow and treasury management, GST compliance, financial controls and business support.
This is a hands-on management role offering opportunities to progressively assume broader financial and strategic responsibilities as the organisation continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounts function and ensure timely, accurate and meaningful financial and management reporting.
- Oversee management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance, and provide Management with clear financial analysis and insights.
- Provide financial oversight of M&E projects, including project costing, WIP, cost-to-complete, profitability, margins and project cash flow.
- Work closely with Project and QS/Commercial teams to review project financial performance, budgets, progress, cost movements and significant financial or commercial matters.
- Review project and financial information through the Company's ERP system and highlight significant variances, margin risks, cost movements or other matters requiring Management attention.
- Provide ERP support to the Finance team, including coordinating with the external system vendor to resolve any system issues and requirements.
- Manage and forecast the Company's overall cash flow and working-capital requirements, including oversight of receivables, payables and project-related commitments.
- Maintain appropriate financial controls and governance, and oversee GST reporting, taxation, audit and statutory requirements.
- Review and improve finance processes, controls, reporting and systems to improve efficiency and the quality of financial information.
- Lead, guide and develop the Finance team, ensuring appropriate accountability, delegation and continuity within the function.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretarial professionals.
- Work closely with Management and other departments on financial, commercial and business matters as required.
