Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Singapore, with a 5 day work week. The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with customers to understand application requirements, recommend suitable motion control and automation components, and prepare quotations and proposals. The role includes providing pre and post sales technical support, troubleshooting product issues, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Technical Sales Engineer will also conduct product presentations and demonstrations, support business development activities, and keep accurate records of customer interactions. The position involves regular visits to customer sites and continuous learning about product updates and industry trends. Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in technical sales or a similar role
- Experience in industrial automation, motion control or precision engineering, including familiarity with linear guides, ball screws, bearings and actuators
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills to identify customer needs, develop opportunities, and close deals effectively
- Good communication skills to work with engineers, buyers and maintenance teams
- Own vehicle with a valid Singapore driving licence
- Comfortable with basic office software and CRM systems
