About the role
Manage and coordinate the import/export of goods, which includes preparing and verifying shipping documents, liaising with logistics partners and government agencies, tracking shipments schedule, maintaining accurate record, updating inventory, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

- Handle the full set of import/export documents, such as invoices, packing lists, COO, and bills of lading
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, courier services, and other internal departments
- Ensure adherence to all relevant shipping and customs regulations and maintain accurate records for audits
- Oversee the timely collection, delivery, and clearance of cargo
- Track shipments, update relevant stakeholders on status, and prepare reports
- Address any issues that arise, such as delays, lost or damaged items, and customer complaints About you
- Typically requires 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or import/export documentation
- A minimum of GCE 'O' Levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with shipping software like TradeNet
- Knowledge of Singapore Customs procedures and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
