LTA HSO B B, Singapore Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Full-time

[What the role is]

[LTA-RAOM] SENIOR / EXECUTIVE / ENGINEER (DATA STANDARDS AND INFORMATION)

[What you will be working on]

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our asset management team and help develop and enhance LTA’s digital asset management platforms. These platforms bring together rail asset information to support a comprehensive and trustworthy view of asset health, performance, condition, supportability and renewal needs across the MRT network, enabling better maintenance and lifecycle decisions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys wearing several hats. As a business analyst, you'll work with rail engineers to understand asset management needs and translate them into clear requirements. As a scrum master, you'll run the delivery rhythm, planning sprints, unblocking the team, and keeping developers and citizen developers moving. You'll also help establish the data standards that underpin reliable asset information, and take on the broader tasks a fast-moving programme demands.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious about technology, keen to explore new tools and modern data platforms, and willing to get hands-on to identify more effective and efficient ways of working. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across LTA, rail operators, contractors and system manufacturers to ensure that the platforms integrate effectively with the wider rail asset management landscape and deliver useful, trusted information to their users.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, what matters most is curiosity, aptitude and the drive to learn.

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Civil, Mechanical), Computer Science, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience in business analysis and/or Agile delivery, requirements gathering, scrum master, product owner, or similar, is highly valued (though not essential for fresh graduates with the right aptitude).
  • Genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and data platforms.
  • Comfort working with data, data models, data standards and dashboards.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with critical and logical thinking skills, able to work independently when necessary.
  • Previous experience in railway system design, operation and maintenance will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Snowflake or Databricks will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge or experience with BIM / Asset Information Modelling (AIM) processes or data standards will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will help build a critical system that supports the safety, reliability and long-term value of our railway network. If you are a proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for excellence, we strongly encourage you to apply.

As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
