**About our group**:
Seagate Research Group conducts research to transform Seagate’s technical expertise, innovation, and manufacturing excellence to develop innovative technologies for the rapidly growing datasphere.

Data Storage and Memory Devices, one of the five vectors of Seagate Research Group, refers to core data storage technology. We create proof-of-concept (PoC) and explore sustainable data storage evolution, which increases data density and reduces cost of data storage year over year.

**About the role - you will**:

- Work alongside Seagate researchers on device and platform cooling
- Develop creative solutions and new technologies for environmentally-friendly cooled data storage devices and cooling platforms
- Present research findings and contribute to the community
- Develop, build and test concepts in a lab environment

**About you**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Responsible, reliable, proactive, and detailed-oriented
- Positive attitude and a good team player

**Your experience includes**:

- Good understanding of thermal engineering and behaviour of systems and devices under thermal stress and technologies to overcome them
