**MISSION**

**RESPONSABILITIES**

Under the supervision of the IT-Apps Manager, the Data Integration Engineer will perform the following main missions:

- Participating to the functional analysis of needs (finance, procurement, HR, education teams)
- Exploring and benchmarking solutions
- Propose solutions and business cases to decision makers
- Plan and manage the project in an agile manner
- Test and coordinate testing of the selected solution with users
- Ensure specifications are met
- Deploy and train the relevant stakeholders (support team, managers, end-users)
- Guarantee clear communication and guidelines with the vendors
- Supporting subsequent continuous improvements and stakeholders
- Ensures documentation and deliverables are complete and updated
- Study the interfaces available
- Study current data flows and data mapping and propose a coherent data architecture
- Setup and maintain the interfaces between the apps
- Monitoring data security and data flows to ensure data is up to date in all the systems and database
- Setup dashboards and automated reporting to feed pertinent data to stakeholder
- Maintaining source code and interfaces documentation

**SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION**
- Master’s in computer sciences or information technology
- Proficiency in databases (SQL)
- Proficient in scripting and automation (Powershell, HTML, Python, Devops)
- Experience in data modelling and design
- Experience in using business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI, Excel, VBA) is an added advantage
- Well organized and be able to prioritize tasks
- Experience in project management (Agile)
- Analytical mind
- Meticulous in securing data, access rights and confidentiality (PPDA Certification is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Strong team player to deliver result in fast paced and collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to understand business issues
- Able to translate concrete needs in more technical language
- Able to challenge vendor’s proposals
- Proficiency in English and French to manage IT solutions in French and English and to communicate with stakeholders (staff, institution, vendors) in both languages
- Exposure to Cloud (AWS, Azure) would be a plus

- Direction, Heads of departments
- Vendors

**REPORTING**

Reporting directly to the IT-Apps Manager, you will be part of the IT Department, a team of 10 people delivering IT services and digital transformation to 500 staff and 3000 students.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Permanent contract, on the basis of a full time of 42 hours per week
