**About the role**
Our client is seeking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to support the development and execution of a robust accounts receivable function across the APAC region. In this regional role, you will collaborate closely with internal operational teams and external stakeholders to drive the effectiveness of the receivables process. Reporting to the APAC Finance Manager, you will manage daily AR operations, credit assessments, dispute resolutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial performance and minimize credit risk. This is a full-time individual contributor role with hybrid working arrangements.

**What you'll be doing**
- Oversee the full AR cycle, including the issuance of customer invoices, payment tracking, accurate allocation of receipts, and preparation of both routine and ad-hoc reports.
- Track overdue accounts, initiate follow-ups with customers, and ensure prompt collection of outstanding balances.
- Address and resolve billing disputes in coordination with Sales and Customer Service teams; negotiate and implement structured payment plans when required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for AR related queries; identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit control, preferably in a regional role.
- Prior working experience within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Retail sector.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, credit risk evaluation, and financial controls.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-centric approach.
- Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment and work collaboratively across functions.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
