**Job Summary**- Work with the business teams to understand their requirements.
- Design and implement solutions to automate and optimize financial reporting
- Design and implement solutions to calculate adjustments and reserves
- Design and implement solutions to calculate independent valuations
- Document the related IT policies and procedures.
- Undertake continuous improvement of the current systems and infrastructure.
- Support Valuation Methodology BAU teams for financial modelling and methodology related tasks, which include but not limited to calibration for IPV, model overlays development and implementation, Prudent Valuation Adjustments.

- Lead the Valuation Methodology Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

**Role Specific Technical Competencies**
- Python (e.g. Django, Flask)
- Javascript (e.g. Angular, React, Node)
- Development Tools (VS Code/PyCharm, Git, ADO etc)
- RDBMS / SQL
- Functional programming (Haskell, Scala etc)
- Software Architecture and Design Concepts
- Financial products, market data, derivatives, pricing models
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a developer preferably in banking/ fintech / financial startups, consulting etc.
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering Interest in financial markets/ trading/ deriavtives / risk**About Standard Chartered**
