**Roles & Responsibilities**

**The Position**:
Based in Singapore, the Director of Business Development will report to the Chief Executive Officer. This senior-level role is responsible for managing and directing all business development, sales, and post-sales related activities for Ace Green Recycling globally.

As an important member of the management position will regularly participate in Regional and Global Staff meetings and will be expected to contribute to the development and execution of regional business development and operations strategies that create sustainable growth for the company.

**The Profile**:

- 10+ years experience working for a mining/smelting, trading and battery recycling company focusing on battery materials with a verifiable track record of positive results
- In-depth knowledge of existing recycling technologies, upcoming recycling technologies and the battery material supply chain
- Strong relationship and past track records with battery OEM and recyclers is preferrable
- In-depth understanding of arbitrage and various pricing and hedging strategies on London Metal Exchange, SHFE, MCX and other exchanges
- In-depth knowledge of existing compliances in various countries with a focus on hazardous waste
- Ability to develop growth and market entry strategies to gain market share globally
- Ability to garner support for those strategies throughout all levels of the Company
- Cross-cultural experience and in-depth knowledge of the Global market with a sharp focus on the Asian market.
- Flexible to extensive travel globally to develop new and maintain existing relationships
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation to achieve team results is a must
- Forward-thinking, and the ability to forge and manage partnerships internally and externally
- Teamwork, thoughtfulness, thoroughness, focus, and drive for results are critical characteristics
- Excellent cross-cultural communications, negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Independent, hands-on and proactive
