Associate, Sustainable Infrastructure*

In this role, you will support the origination and execution of debt transactions for our growing sustainable infrastructure investments practice, with an initial focus on renewable energy, energy related infrastructure, sustainable transport and digital infrastructure in Asia’s emerging and frontier markets. Based in **Singapore**, you will report directly to the Investment Director, Infrastructure, Singapore, and will work closely with BlueOrchard’s sustainable infrastructure investment team around the globe.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Asian and other emerging infrastructure markets and generate deal ideas in collaboration with the team;
- Conduct market research, screen potential opportunities and analyse potential investments, including financial analysis, structuring and valuation;
- Assist the infrastructure team in due diligence, with financial analysis and financial modelling on transactions;
- Support the preparation of investment papers for the Investment Committee;
- Monitor transactions post investment, valuation and asset management activities.
**Required skills and experience**
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a leading firm in project finance banking, energy private equity, energy consulting or infrastructure asset management;
- Strong analytical and technical skills (including financial modelling using MS Excel);
- Previous experience in energy and infrastructure, preferably in the Asian markets;
- Graduate from a leading university or Business School;
- Fluent in English (written and oral). Knowledge of a local language a plus.
