**Job Purpose**:
The Assistant Physiotherapist supports qualified Physiotherapists in providing high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic care to patients. The role involves assisting in treatment delivery, preparing equipment, supervising exercises, and ensuring patient comfort and safety, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting the smooth running of the physiotherapy unit.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing prescribed treatment plans, exercises, and therapies.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and materials for patient sessions.
- Guide patients through supervised exercises and monitor progress.
- Support with manual therapy techniques as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Record and maintain accurate patient treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate patients on exercise techniques, posture, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of therapy equipment.
- Provide administrative and clerical support such as scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-up.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
- Eligible for registration with AHPC Singapore HPC licence and MAHPC licence for Malaysia is preferred
- Training will be provided to convert to qualified physiotherapist
- Clinical experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, or rehabilitation physiotherapy. (if any)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
