IDEXX is seeking an organized and detail oriented Senior Administrative Associate to provide high-level and administrative support to the Vice President of Asia Pacific Commercial Operations within the Companion Animal Group.

As the Senior Administrative Associate, you will be acting as gatekeepers and problem solvers and support VP of APO in form of calendaring and scheduling, meeting management, travel management, office management, internal and external customer service

What You Will Do
You will help manage the VP’s calendar including meeting set-up, travel arrangements, determining and shifting priorities, resolving scheduling conflicts, problem solving, etc.
You will act as intermediary for questions and issues before escalating, resolving independently where possible.
You will support stakeholder engagement by liaising with internal/external stakeholders, arranging meetings, events, and other stakeholder related activities.
You will design, format and update presentations and routine and non-routine correspondence.
You will plan and coordinate large meetings and special events including catering, technical equipment set up, awards and recognition, etc.
You will prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, check requests, expense reports, etc.
You will perform administrative tasks including phone coverage, ordering office supplies, distributing mail, etc.
You will collaborate with administrative team, globally.
You will perform other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed
Associates degree in Business or related field, plus job-related specialized training in administration or office management.
5+ years of related administrative, secretarial or office experience supporting executive or higher-level management.
You will have the ability to use discretion, consistently maintaining confidentiality, managing sensitive and proprietary information.
You will possess superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
You will have the ability to take initiative using judgment and independent thinking as appropriate.
You will possess excellent interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a diverse group of people, including members of senior management and peers.
You will possess excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities; excellent attention to detail.
You will have excellent coordination, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills.
You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
You are a self-starter; results-oriented with demonstrated ability to finish projects, meet deadlines
You will have the knowledge of standard office procedures, practices, and equipment.
You will have experience/proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet based
