**THE COMPANY**

August Robotics believes in the potential for **humans and robots to collaborate and co-operate**, and we aspire to be at the forefront of the coming “robotics revolution”.

August Robotics is a **world-leading robotics company** in many ways. Unlike other companies, we genuinely do all the R&D for our robots ourselves, from product conceptualisation right through to manufacturing and commercialisation. Our first robot, Lionel, was already commercialised and **earning substantial revenue** in Europe and the USA less than 2 years after we wrote the first line of code.

**YOUR SKILLS**

You must show:

- **Honours degree** from a high-ranking university
- **2-4 years’ experience **in growth or product marketing
- Track record of growing and engaging an audience
- Entrepreneurial drive, strategic business nous, creative spirit and an **ability to think laterally**:

- Confident **communicator **across formats (verbal, written, data)
- Ability to manage projects independently, work with others and prioritize effectively
- Written and Verbal fluency in English

The following are not required but would be viewed favourably:

- Experience at an early stage or growth stage start-up
- Experience in B2B marketing
- Exposure to multiple facets in marketing: product, growth, lifecycle, PR/comms etc.
- Experience with design programs (e.g. Canva, Figma, Photoshop)

You should be a self-starter, with strong organisational skills and an ability to work proactively, independently and creatively.

You should be **comfortable with ambiguity** and excited by the idea of working in an entrepreneurial culture. You should be **open to learning new things** and adapt in a fast-moving environment.

**THE ROLE**

As the company’s first marketing hire, you will be expected to think like a strategist and execute like an entrepreneur. Your primary objective will be to kickstart and turbocharge August Robotics’ marketing function for current and future August Robotics’ robots. This will include:
**1. Developing August Robotics’ overall marketing strategy**
- You will work with the Head of Strategy and Growth to **set August Robotics’ overall marketing strategy**:

- You will work on refining August Robotics’ brand positioning and messaging

**2. Leading August Robotics’ growth marketing operations**
- You will identify and set up key acquisition channels
- You will execute and analyse performance across prioritised channels
- You will produce content for prioritised channels independently and in collaboration with other creatives
- You will manage **social media platforms**, the company website and PR outreach to promote the **August Robotics’ brand**

**3. Supporting product and sales teams**
- You will support product marketing managers in collateral development, content development and market and competitive intelligence
- You will help produce **marketing collateral** (e.g. brochures, videos, PPTs) to excite & inspire potential customers
