**Role: Supply Chain Executive**

This role requires a highly self-motivated individual that is well organized and can time-manage well. The role requires the talent to perform the following duties:

- Robust and adaptive execution of end-to-end supply chain responsibilities with active participation on continuous improvement of SCM framework
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
- Explore alternate sources for goods and materials
- Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers
- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships and in compliance with the company’s policies and guidelines
- Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities
- Raise Purchase Requisition for approval
- Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements
- Place orders for regional requirements. Able to purchase ‘urgent’ items on request
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Responsible for receiving goods in good quality and standards
- Record order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of vendors and suppliers, purchased products, delivery information, prices, and invoices
- Ensure the inventory is well organized and upkeep of the warehouse is maintained
- Perform physical stock count at month end
- Reconcile differences between book records and physical quantities, providing explanations for any variances in monthly inventory report
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
- Work closely with other departments on cost control and reduction
- Build strong relationships with our factories and suppliers, ensuring a continuous long term partnership
- Oversee all purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet Responsibilities
- Evaluate vendor performance to ensure lowest cost, highest quality, and timely deliveries
**Pre-Requisite**
- _Min 2-3 years of planning/operations experience_
- _Diploma/Degree in Business / Logistics / Engineering_
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities.
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
