As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT.

**Key Responsibilities**

(b) Oversee, manage, and participate in Designing of device from start to finish

(c) Design and implement software that performs data collection and processing with the device

(d) Create prototypes and work on necessary components (e.g., microprocessors)

(e) Participate in design for manufacturing evaluations to develop cost-effective and efficient production processes

(f) Perform integration tests and quality control according to industry-level standards

(g) Utilize machine learning techniques on device data analysis

(h) Create complete technical documentation and device records throughout the entire design and development lifecyclefor both the hardware and software components according to industry-level standards

(i) Monitor the use of device, collect usability feedbacks, and perform engineering changes to optimize devicefunctionality

(j) Troubleshoot defects in the design

(k) Keep abreast of advancements in mechatronics and relevant fields

(l) Setting up cloud databases

**Job Requirements**

Requirements: (Expertise, Qualification and Experience)

1. Well-versed in computer science, applied physics, and mechanics

2. Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software

3. Ability to develop and evaluate integrated systems

4. An analytical mind

5. Resourcefulness

6. Outstanding communication skills

7. Good bachelor degree or post graduate degree
