**Port Captain/Marine Operations (Bulk Carriers)**:
**Job Responsibilities**:
**Offshore Jobs In Singapore**:

- Perform Vetting Review & Approval for all vessels nominated for business.
- Monitor / Follow up Rightship Star Ratings of entire TC Fleet. Liaise with Rightship in addressing and closing pending matters.
- Support Chartering with Pre-Fixture technical requirements / Class - Flag state-PSC / Est Cargo intakes
- Assist Operations with technical issues guidance / resolution (Stevedore damages / crane damages).
- Review of Stow plans and assisting Operations in maximizing cargo intake.
- Acts as the center of marine expertise and coach and assist in developing the Vessel Operators technical/marine comprehension/understanding.
- Assist in building a data base of suitable vessel per trade flows and rating system of technical managers basis their Rightship ratings and PSC deficiencies etc.
- Holds Cleaning: Coordinate/Supervise hold cleaning progress handled by Ship’s Crew or Shore gang.
- Prepare guidelines and assist operators on understanding the daily reports and various cleaning standard requirements.
- Review and rate the Shore gangs employed in various locations worldwide
- Review and guide on the most effective chemicals and equipment to be utilized.

**Skills**:
**Basic qualification**:

- Sailed as at least as Chief Officer or Master Mariner

**Experience**
- 5+ years of relevant sea going experience as Chief Officer with dry bulk vessels
- Has experience with vessel vetting procedures

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
- Applied knowledge and technical skills directly related to this position
- Motivation and the drive to make a difference
- Fluency in English language
- Proficiency in industry’s requirements and liabilities for vessel operations
- Commercial Acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new situations and work effectively, under pressure, in a changing environment
- Time management, Stress management, and ability to work effectively across a wide variety of Cultural differences
