As part of our omni transformation journey in the Region, we are introducing the new role of Inventory Optimization Specialist for the Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam sales market.

The Inventory Optimization Specialist will contribute to maximizing selling, profit, and customer experience by having the right garments in the right location at the right time to meet customer demand. The role will maintain an overview, forecast, and prioritization of garment flow, and strategically steer stock based on current and projected selling patterns. The role will work cross-functionally, both strategically and operationally, to enable a fast, flexible, and effective country supply chain today and in the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**Pre-allocation garment steering**:
Set initial allocation and replenishment strategy and goal for your Sales Market together with the Regional Inventory Optimization Manager and drive this through in collaboration with Merchandisers and Area Controllers.

Drive allocation strategy and operation

Set framework for product allocation strategy based on regional strategy.
Responsible for securing allocation parameters and follow up on allocation accuracy.
Conduct store profiling together with Store Portfolio Optimization Manager & Project Merchandiser to determine best concept mix to meet the customer demand.

Location supply optimization

Set and follow up inventory targets and stock composition in warehouse and store segments in collaboration with Regional Inventory Optimization Manager.
Support Merchandisers with strategy and technical analysis to enable best possible commercial decisions in line with supply situations and actions.
Secure replenishment strategy and set delivery schedules to store with logistics counterpart & controlling.
Identify ongoing and upcoming issues together with local teams and take appropriate actions.
Monitor and improve stock accuracy by supporting RFID routines in collaboration with local team.
Initiate storage management actions in collaboration with Demand & supply unit, Regional Merchandise Managers, Merchandisers and Logistics.
Understand customer behavior impact on demand and supply and set actions accordingly.

Demand and garment flow forecasting

Set up framework for prioritization of articles for allocation to secure commerciality in stores.
Forecast store inbound/outbound to support store planning.
Develop and communicate the SALE planning to Logistics and Area Teams in order to synchronize all functions.
Align commercial actions affecting garment flow with Regional Inventory Optimization Manager.

Drive omni strategy development, and drive and roll out supply chain initiatives

Constantly explore and implement how to improve stock management in Sales Market and Region - bring successful examples to the Regional Demand & Supply Unit.
Be a part of developing the global supply chain agenda and initiatives as a business expert.

YOUR PROFILE & BACKGROUND

Deep understanding in allocation, inventory optimization, logistics operation and store operations.
Broad understanding of buying, commercial planning, stock management strategies and actions.
High analytical skills with advanced Excel Skills (Programming skills meriting)
Structured way of working.
High level of salesmanship & collaborative personality.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
