You will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on light and heavy commercial vehicles. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a proactive mindset to resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. **Key Responsibilities**: **1. Technical Diagnostics & Repairs** - Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial vehicles (light and heavy). - Confidently troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across multiple brands. - Take initiative in handling complex or unfamiliar faults using a research and development approach. - Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and company standards in terms of quality and safety. **2. Workshop Operations Support** - Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth job flow and timely completion of tasks. - Maintain proper documentation of repair work, parts usage, and job completion details in Kerridge KCML or other systems. - Support the workshop team by sharing knowledge and assisting in complex repair cases when needed. **3. Quality Assurance & Continuous Learning** - Uphold high standards of workmanship and proactively check the quality of completed jobs. - Stay updated on the latest diagnostic tools, vehicle technologies, and repair techniques. - Participate in technical training and upskilling programs to maintain technical proficiency. **4. Safety & Compliance** - Follow all safety protocols and ensure work is carried out in a clean and hazard-free environment. - Report safety concerns or equipment issues promptly and comply with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations. - Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and calibration of workshop tools and diagnostic equipment. **Job Requirements** - Requirements: - A minimum qualification of NITEC in Automotive Technology or related discipline - Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in automotive service & repair - Possess a valid Class 3 driving license - Basic command of English (both verbal and written) - Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning **About the Company** A member of the Jardine Cycle & Carriage Group, C&C is one of the leading automotive groups in Singapore.
