**GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB**
- The primary purpose of this position is to provide global technical, managerial, and supervisory direction to develop new processes and improve existing processes for quality and reduce cost
- Responsible for optimization of chemical processes by working with the regional and functional leaders to identify and execute projects that improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and reduce the overall cost of operations
- Able to trouble shoot high-tech manufacturing equipment for electronic and mechanical problems. Able to understand how to operate very precise equipment
- Communicates with the manufactures of the equipment to resolve problems when necessary
- Build strong relationship with both internal and external customers.
- Able to communicate well with customers, management and Peers/direct reports to fulfill order requirements.
- Working with modern high precision rolling mill & Mixing Machine

**Primary Role, Responsibility & Accountability**:

- Support and lead optimization projects - Responsibilities include the planning, coordination, communication and execution of optimization projects related to chemical processes.
- Support and Lead the sharing and implementation of best practices within the region.
- Provide technical, managerial and supervisory direction to develop new guidelines and procedures for Scale Up of newly developed product and Technology Transfers.
- Provides technical and managerial direction for special projects of a complex nature requiring engineering and technical expertise.
- Responsible for the development of new technologies to reduce process cycle time and improve quality
- Coordinates and supervises the Scale Up activities of newly developed products throughout the regional manufacturing sites
- Motivate team to achieve Key Performance Indices (KPI) set by management
- When required to lead taskforce to overcome production and quality issues.
- Any other tasks that are assigned

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Materials Engineering,
- Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional experience.
- Proven track record of working in an operations / supply-chain organization, along with effective engagement with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, program / process management, analytical, & communication skills.
- Ability to lead, coach and inspire a team independently of formal authority
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Maintain tight timelines while meeting targeted savings outcomes.
- Experience with total cost of ownership reduction and process improvement.
- Ability to produce a high quantity and quality of work with little supervision.
- Six Sigma Green Belt with Statistical analytical skills preferred (Black Belt will be an advantage)
- Ability to read & create piping and instrumentation (P&ID) diagram
- Possess or have knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
