The Global Fuel Logistics Specialist role lies at the heart of the organization and the Global Fuel Logistics team is one of the key market differentiators for WFS Aviation. It is customer service combined with sales and operational/sales support for our global customer database. A Global Fuel Logistics Specialist has to have a can-do approach to our customers, who can be calling in from all types of companies and all around the world with different requirements. The dispatcher needs to understand different cultures and have empathy for the differing needs of the different types of aircraft operators.

The Global Fuel Logistics team is seen as an ideal area to grow talent, to progress to other areas of the organization. The Global Fuel Logistics Specialist needs to feel confident to make calls to prospective customers and to build/develop those relationships and will also be responsible for directly managing some small accounts to help grow in volume and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Arrange fuel for customers worldwide (scheduled and ad-hoc flights), key in PO’s and forward to appropriate airport contacts or suppliers
- Co-ordinate with Credit Control Department to ensure customers do not exceed their credit limits
- Update formula database with correct information and post pricing onto the system
- Respond to and expedite incoming pricing requests for ad-hoc fueling
- Facilitate customer requests for fuel carnets and issue them upon approval
- Actively promote complimentary products and services

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

- Fresh diploma/degree graduates from the Aviation field
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build relationships
- Great attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn
- Effective and professional telephone manner, commercial awareness and sound business judgment
- Ability to anticipate issues, work well under pressure and to priorities effectively
- Ability to deal with the unexpected situation, show initiative and work alone at times if required
- Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
- Experience in Oracle systems
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
