Reservations Officer

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you shall be responsible for:
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and its room rates, promotions and facilities.
- Ensuring all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information and that they are inputted accurately and promptly onto the system.
- Maximizing revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and opportunities to upsell services.
- Liaising with clients and customers to coordinate corporate events whilst building rapport and creating professional relationships.
- Ensuring all work meets company standards (ie paperwork must be accurate and complete, including catering requirements, guest preferences, booking supplements and payment details).
- Liasing with the Sales and Front Office teams on room bookings.
- Any other ad-hoc duties from time to time.
**SKILL REQUIREMENTS**
- GCE 'O' Level (Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent will be advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in OPERA Cloud will be advantageous, but not a pre-requisite
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills
- Team player, yet able to work independently
