Development Services Intern
Key Tasks
Operation support for Development Services Department
**Job Description**:
- Daily activities such as verification for balance, Flex 2, pH meter, conductivity meter, etc
- Understand and operation of laboratory equipment including Biosafety Cabinet, Glassware Washer, Flex 2, pH meter, balances,pipettes, autoclave, conductivity meter, etc
- Laboratory activities such as manual wash of laboratory glassware, inventory check, housekeeping, Biosafety Cabinet strip clean, vicell cleaning, replenishing consumables, goods receiving, etc
- Other adhoc activites assigned to support department operation
Learning Outcomes
- Familiarization with Biologics Facility and specific GMP requirements
- Facilitate which includes but limited to the following systems:
- verification for balance, Flex 2, pH meter, conductivity meter, etc
- Understand and operate lab equipment including Biosafety Cabinet, pH meter, freezers, conductivity meter, autoclave, glasswasher, etc
- Laboratory activities - manual washes, inventory check, housekeeping, etc
- Operation support for laboratory management
- Basic equipment troubleshooting
Requirement
- Tertiary Education (Poly./University) in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology
- Prior experience in an pharma/biotech/chemical industry is a plus
