**Position Purpose**:
For the performance of its mission, the OPC team will adhere to the OPC Group mission statement and to the APAC OPC Charter. The OPC team will comply with the regulatory obligations of BNP Paribas, with General Management instructions and will take into account market best practices.

**Responsibilities**

**Direct Responsibilities**

Risks and Controls Self-Assessment
- Responsible for continuous update of the RCSA for assigned scope through analysis of evolution, incidents, control results, recommendations
- Strong engagement with Business Heads for validation/ updates/ reports of the relevant operational risk
- Ownership of the control libraries for the assigned scope.

OPC Controls
- Ownership of the OPC controls definition, execution and results for the assigned scope.
- Ensure that control results are satisfactory or remediated (in case of anomalies).

Procedures
- Identify weakness in process and promote process changes to address identified risk.
- Ensure that procedures documentation are up-to-date.

Incidents Management
- Coordinate with stakeholders on the investigation of the root causes, the definition of remediation actions, and ensuring clear and timely reporting in systems.
- Manage and responsible for management reporting of client complaints in committees.
- Following-up on the timely implementation of action plans and recommendations assigned to the activities under the team scope of responsibility.

New Products/ Activities
- Coordinates for the validation of new products/ activities in accordance to the bank policy.
- Prepare, organise and secretariat at validation committees.
- Conduct follow-up in ensuring conditions set by Committee are met before activity can be launched.
- Responsible in tracking the launch activity and to conduct a post implementation review.

**Contributing Responsibilities**
- Participate and contribute to reporting for Permanent Control Committees.
- Participate and support transformative projects and initiatives with impact on the operational risk profiles of Transaction Banking business.
- Work in collaboration with the independent second lines of defense - namely Risk ORM and Compliance in managing the operational risks for the Bank.
- Promote an operational risk monitoring and control culture.

**Technical & Behavioral Competencies**:

- Excellent Communication skills - oral & written
- Possess analytical and critical thinking skills
- Display resilience, and able to work under tight timelines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrates ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel ,Power point and Access)

**Specific Qualifications (if required)**:

- Preferably with some experience or knowledge with operational risk management, and/ or transaction banking business.
- Experience being in first line of defence roles is a plus.
- Self-starter and inquisitive learner.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize key deliverables completion on time. Experience being in first line of defence roles is a plus.
