On this role, you will be working with local innovative startup partners with exciting solutions around big data, autonomous vehicles, surveillance drones, smart city, smart buildings, IIOT solutions and digital twins etc. You will play a key role in enabling and boosting these innovations in Singapore ecosystem, leveraging edge-to-cloud storage solutions from Seagate.

**About the role - you will**:

- Representing Seagate Lyve Labs Singapore from a technology perspective to the start-up ecosystem and community, building trust, credibility and excitement around current and future technologies
- Arranging and managing workshops, competitions and hackathons in the lab to engage local developers in trying to solve difficult industry wide problems.
- Creating and running a program for deeper engagement with selected Start-ups who are potential Seagate partners/customers, provide on-going support and advice to these selected Start-ups
- Hosting visits to Lab and creative space to test and showcase our technology
- Managing POC processes between selected startups and Seagate Internal teams
- Developing and maintaining strong ties with our product, innovation and business teams to allow for effective exchange of ideas, solutions and feedback
- Managing an ongoing global technology exchange program allowing Seagate technical leads from all over the world to locate to Singapore for several weeks at a time and help work with the local eco-system

**About you**:

- Passionate about innovations, Curious about cutting-edge technologies, Self-learner and Problem solver.
- Experience as enterprise storage system architect, private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud.- Experience with open-source development platforms and common tools.
- You have flexibility and able to comfortably work in a quickly changing environment
- You have strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English

**Your experience includes**:

- Strong technical expertise in cloud storage
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience

**Location**:
In response to COVID-19, this position may temporarily begin and be performed remotely. Seagate is actively evaluating the virus and our employees' health and safety are our top priority. In the future, this position will report to and be performed at our **Shugart** location.
