An opportunity is now available for a career-minded individual to join us in MSC South East Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as **Executive, Documentation Import.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**We Offer**

As an Executive, Documentation Import, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing all shipping documentation—including Bills of Lading (BLs), Manifests, and Switch BLs—to ensure they are issued accurately in line with customer and Principal requirements. You will also deliver excellent service in all aspects of Documentation and Claims for the Singapore office.
**Key Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Team Lead, Documentation Import, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate data retrieval and input in the MSC system, releasing Delivery Orders and Bills of Lading (BL), collecting payments, and ensuring prompt BL production and smooth cargo release. This role also requires effective coordination and communication with customers.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing data retrieval and input in the MSC system, releasing Delivery Orders, and collecting payments.
- Ensuring accurate and timely declaration of all import status (local import) to PSA, in close liaison with the Regional Office for laden and empty containers.
- Overseeing proper cargo release and freight collection.
- Monitoring Import UAC and preparing the monthly UAC Report.
- Updating SEA Import volume for management statistics.
- Handling all matters related to local import shipments.
- Participating in and supporting system improvement projects.
- Owning and executing all tasks to ensure prompt and error-free delivery of Bills of Lading.
- Assisting with MSC system implementations and improvements.
- Declaring Tradenet Import/Export and Ship Spares permits.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Who We Are Looking For**
- Minimum Diploma, preferably in Logistics, Maritime, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the shipping or forwarding industry preferred.
- Fresh graduates may also apply.
- Ability to lead a small team or section.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Organised and process-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
- Capable of working independently and managing work performance effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and initiative.
