**About the Role**

Our Sports / Remedial Massage Therapist role will provide you with a unique opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of manual therapists, nutritionists, psychotherapists and psychologists.

Main responsibilities, not limited:

- Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results,
- Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body,
- Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body,
- Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture,
- Document client’s condition and progress
- Exercise Prescriptions
- Other ad-hoc duties

**Skills and experience**
- Certified in Sports Massage or Registered Massage Therapist
- Other qualifications of massage therapy on top of sports massage is valued
- At least 1 year working experience
- Previous clinical experience as a physiotherapy/chiropractic assistant or fitness/personal trainer will be an advantage
- Effective communication skills

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
