Treasury Analyst

**Job Summary**

This will be a 12 months contract with a potential to be converted to permanent. Treasury and Investments Dept is dedicated to managing SCOR’s holdings, liquidity and mitigating operational, and financial risk. The fundamental activities include collections, disbursements, concentration, investment, and funding.

The Treasury Analyst will be reporting to the Head of Asia Pacific Treasury and Investments. You will be involved with a broad spectrum of Treasury and Investments functions covering Asia Pacific region entities managed by the Singapore Hub for Property & Casualty, Life and Services segment.

You are expected to play a supporting role in building an efficient and effective Treasury and Investments operations which support the business growth.
- Cash and liquidity management, funding, cash flow forecast, investment coordination, bank account management and reporting.
- Develop unique solutions to our business processes by integrating the team’s existing software and databases in the Asia Pacific region.
- All tasks will have to be performed in compliance with SCOR Group Treasury Policy and SCOR Group Investment Guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:
**Treasury and Investments Function**
- Perform daily cash and liquidity management for Asia Pacific region entities. Determine daily cash position to meet the respective entities daily operating requirements while maximising the use of funds.
- Produce, analyse, and maintain cash liquidity and forecasting.
- Manage funding, and counterparty exposures to ensure compliance with SCOR policies and guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate fund transfer, time deposit settlement, FX Spot/Forward/NDF settlement, internal and external loan settlement.
- Manage FX exposure, Monitor maturity of FX forward and derivatives contracts.
- Bank accounts administrations, i.e., open/close bank account, update banking signatories etc.
- Liaise with internal and external asset managers for investment transactions.
- Prepare reports for internal and external parties, including finance, management, head office, regulators, and auditors.
- Assist in updating procedures, policies, and processes related to Treasury and Investments functions.
- Support projects implementation, including business process automation while working closely with relevant parties.
- Any other duties and responsibilities being assigned from time to time.

**Business Process Transformation Projects**
- Work closely with the IT consultant and Developer on life cycle of business process automation projects requested by the team, using existing solutions, software, and database.
- Projects utilise software such as Microsoft tools (E.g., SharePoint, Access, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel VBA), SAP, etc.
- Ensure continuity and intuitiveness of solution (documentation) and presenting it to the team.
- Understanding the existing solutions owned by the team and propose any new enhancements where applicable.

**Required Experience & Competencies**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the financial industry, ideally in corporate treasury / cash management. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcomed to apply.
- Knowledge in programming, automation, data visualisation is a plus (E.g., VBA Programming, Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, SQL).
- Hands-on, meticulous, positive, and energetic with initiative.

- Well organised, strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on the risk/time criticality of the tasks.
