**About the Role**
We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for managing the Dropsuite global accounting function, a longside expanding process es to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the monthly global results, quarterly, half year and full year end close processes.

This Senior Financial Accountant role and ideal for someone with 8-10 years of experience, including managing a small team and looking for their next challenge

**What will you be doing**
- Ownership of the full financial management of the global finance and compliance function
- Co-manage and lead the Global month end, quarter end and year end close process for both under IFRS
- Assist with filings for ASX regulatory compliance (Annual Report, Half Year Report, Quarterly filings ) and Singapore statutory compliance and lodgements
- Support and review the global statutory accounts under IFRS and review the monthly and quarterly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations review
- Work with CFO on Tax Strategy Development, including implementing tax strategies, managing direct and indirect compliance and tax research
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models - m anaging monthly and quarterly review of forecast in consultation with department heads
- In-depth understanding and experience of global financial reporting framework and relevant accounting standards, applied across both statutory and management reporting
- Actively manage and monitor regional OPEX and recommend cost
- management solutions
- Manage a small, high performing finance team
- Provide support for Payroll and AP process across each region
- Work with key internal stakeholder teams, Revenue, Product, Technology, Customer Support, Human Resources etc to identify and drive process improvement opportunities to create operational efficiencies
- Adopt and lead consistent group processes, policies and procedure improvements that support the global business growth
- International corporation experience key requirement
- Ensure that key policies are followed and compliance across global finance operations Build trusted relationships with key global internal stakeholders

To be considered for this position you must be a qualified accountant who has previous experience in international corporation roles. You will be a passionate finance professional and leader who can effectively influence, and problem solve. Vision, initiative, high energy and strong communication skills will be underpinned by sound technical financial reporting skills and a proven success in finance business partnering.
- You will have a minimum of 8 years in a similar role and be comfortable in a project-based construction environment.
- You hold a Bachelor of Business/Commerce - Accounting or equivalent and you are a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent
- Experience in tax management, preferably in a global setting (APAC, USA)
- You have a strong level of computer skills, with a particular focus on Excel.
- Exceptional organisational, written and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop a range of solutions and demonstrates the ability to select the best solution for each problem/issue
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues in-region, Singapore, Indonesia, USA, Australia and India.

Ability to work well in a small remote finance team

Due to the current size of the business, and the finance team, you must be comfortable in rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail when necessary. Finally, experience in systems implementations and upgrades would be extremely desirable.

This could be an excellent role for a Senior Financial Accountant seeking broader commercial exposure, or this would also suit someone looking further ahead to step into their first Financial Controller position, bringing with them exposure to senior financial reporting and ideally leadership.
