As a florist assistant, you'll be working closely with a professional florist to help with various tasks related to floral arrangements and the overall operation of the flower shop.

**Creativity**: Floristry often involves creating visually appealing arrangements, bouquets, and displays. Having a creative eye and a sense of design aesthetics is essential.

**Physical Stamina**: The job can be physically demanding as it may involve lifting heavy buckets of water, standing for extended periods, and working with your hands to arrange flowers.

**Customer Service Skills**: Interacting with customers will be a regular part of the job. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important to assist customers, take orders, and address any inquiries.

**Organization and Time Management**: As a florist assistant, you may need to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as preparing arrangements, processing orders, and managing inventory. Being organized and managing time efficiently is crucial.

**Attention to Detail**: Precision is necessary when arranging flowers, cutting stems, and ensuring the overall quality of the products. Attention to detail helps create polished and beautiful floral arrangements.

**Adaptability**: Floral shops can be busy and dynamic environments, especially during holidays and special occasions. Being able to adapt to changes and work well under pressure is important. During peak periods like VDAY, MDAY, XMAS Etc may require working over time. Staff will be paid when they do OT.

**Willingness to Learn**: If you don't have extensive experience in floristry, a willingness to learn from the head florist and take direction is valuable. We welcome people of all ages, with or without floral experience.

**Team Player**: Florist assistants often work as part of a team, so being a cooperative and supportive team member is essential for a smooth workflow. We are also looking for people who can work fast.

Must be willing to go through Trial period of 1 month first before securing full-time job position.

Looking for people who can work long term, and not for a year or so only.

May need to work on Saturdays at times depending on events. Overall, 5 days work week will be maintained.

Working Hours - 9 am to 5pm on weekdays, Saturday 10am to 2pm (At times, depending on needs)

**Salary**: $1,700.00 - $2,200.00 per month
