As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible to deploy and configure solutions in the cloud (Public, Hybrid, Private). You automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participate in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions. You participate in the specification, setup and runs Proof of Concepts (PoC) and demonstrations. You define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems. You administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms and leverages COTS and/ or open source solutions to automate tasks. You create and improve procedures and author technical documentation to enable self-service for most operational tasks.

You are meticulous in your approach, possess inventiveness and attention to detail that aids in the development of solutions. You have the ability to understand the business requirements and propose affordable and feasible solutions.

**Responsibilities**:
Define requirements

Liaise with stakeholders to understand business needs and technical requirements

Analyze existing infrastructure components for potential migration to the cloud

Research emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies and IAC (Infra-as-a-Code)

Participate in technology assessments

Develop cloud solutions

Support the development and gap analysis of cloud-based DevOps solutions

Develop system and service deployment scripts

Test cloud-based solutions using specialized infrastructure tools, techniques and virtualization technologies

Develop automated processes to prevent, identify and fix problems and IAC (Infra-as-a-Code)

Implement cloud solutions

Implementation of Cloud Native DevOps OR Cloud DevOps solutions and IAC (Infra-as-a-Code)

Tune systems to ensure optimal performance

Monitor metrics around reliability, stability and performance of cloud infrastructure after implementation

Assist with the integration of third party technologies into cloud infrastructure

Maintain cloud solutions

Assist with preparation and maintenance of operational and technical documentation

Perform cloud infrastructure monitoring

Identify areas of improvement to help streamline operations

Provide cloud infrastructure support to users

Troubleshoot system issues and failures

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience. You have Cloud DevOps experience on Amazon AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Cloud: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, PaaS, IaaS, SaaS products and solutions

Platforms and tools: Jenkins, Artifactory, Python, other scripting languages and etc.

DevOps/Automation: Terraform IAC, OpsWorks, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and etc.

Security: Identity management, security monitoring, various compliance frameworks, and a deep understanding of core security concepts and processes as it relates to securing Cloud technologies

Consulting and Soft Skills: Business Needs Analysis, Emerging Technology Synthesis, Stakeholder Management
