**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Assist in setting up and customising **QuickBooks or Xero**, including configuring accounts, tax settings, and reporting structures.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Process payroll, calculate tax deductions, and manage employee expense claims.
- Handle GST/VAT submissions and other regulatory filings as required.
- Support in the preparation of audit and tax documentation.
- Assist in general administrative and bookkeeping tasks as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or higher qualification in **Accounting, Finance, or a related field**.
- **Proven experience** in an accounting role, preferably as an **Accounts Clerk or Bookkeeper**.
- Hands-on experience with **QuickBooks or Xero**, including initial setup and ongoing use.
- Strong knowledge of **accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations**.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and other accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in **payroll processing** and tax submissions.
- Familiarity with **local accounting standards and tax regulations**.
- Prior experience in an SME or **managed service provider** environment is an advantage.
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,200.00 per month
