**Position Overview**
As a key member of the Group Finance team, you will be at the forefront of driving accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting for the organization. Your role will span across multiple business units and geographical regions, offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity to contribute to the group’s financial strategy and operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in full compliance with IFRS, MFRS, or US GAAP.
- Align and coordinate reporting schedules with subsidiaries to meet critical group deadlines.
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary on key financial metrics to support business decision-making.
- Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing the full audit cycle for the group.
- Maintain robust documentation and internal controls to ensure audit readiness and financial integrity.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and ensure accurate elimination entries in compliance with group accounting standards.
- Monitor adherence to transfer pricing policies and group-wide financial treatments.
- Support the development and consolidation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of group finance systems (e.g., ERP platforms).
- Champion automation and digitization initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide strategic support to the CFO on key projects, financial modelling, and high-impact analysis.
- Prepare professional presentation materials, dashboards, and commentary for senior management and board reporting.
**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in group accounting, with audit experience an advantage. Exposure to SOX compliance & SEC reporting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of consolidation principles, accounting standards, and ERP systems (preferably AutoCount, though not mandatory)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
