We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Floor Manager to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities:
**Leadership and Management**:

- Assist the Floor Manager in daily operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all staff adhere to restaurant policies, procedures, and standards of service.
- Applicant must be well-versed in POS system backend support.
- Applicant also need to be able to multi task both operations and administrative duties.

**Customer Service**:

- Oversee and enhance guest interactions to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and courteously.

**Operational Efficiency**:

- Monitor the dining room to ensure cleanliness, proper table turnover, and efficient service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain smooth service flow and address any discrepancies in orders.

**Training and Development**:

- Conduct regular training sessions for new and existing staff on service protocols, menu knowledge, and cultural nuances of Japanese dining.

**Inventory and Supplies**:

- Assist in managing inventory for front-of-house supplies, ensuring adequate stock without over-ordering.

**Financial Management**:

- Help in managing the cash drawer, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and all other ad-hoc administrative duties.

**Special Events**:

- Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and private dining experiences.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Applicant must be well verse in Japanese operations culture. Minimum of 3-5yr experience.

**Skills**:

- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to maintain composure under pressure.
