1.0 KEY OBJECTIVES

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and carrying out maintenance of the facility’s process systems, associated equipment and utilities safely, with mínimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag and the Compliance Assurance Management System (CAMS).

2.0 Dimensions

Accountable to the Production Supervisor/Superintendent

Support or assist in the CCR Operation as and when required.

Area of responsibility includes but is not limited to any of the Topsides section as assign by the Production Supervisor, e.g. Oil Separation and Stabilisation, Gas Compression and Dehydration, SW Deaeration and Water Injection, etc.

Provide guidance to other members of the crew in matters pertaining to the safe operating of the facility.

Is deemed by position to ensure that compliance to the company CAMS is followed.

3.0 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure the practice and observance of Quality Health, Safety and Environment Assurance system / programmes established by the Company as defined in Compliance Assurance Management System (CAMS) onboard the facility.
- Carryout out duties in accordance with CAMS & IMS documents and best Industry practices.
- Ensure compliance to HSSEQ policies, MAPP Policy, procedures and guidelines during activities.
- Comply with Process Safety guidelines during activities.
- Operate process unit/equipment local control panel on the field to monitor and optimize physical and chemical process parameters as per operating guidelines.
- Control process start-up, shut-down and troubleshooting; Monitor outside process equipment.
- Make necessary adjustments on process parameters for safe operations as advised by the CCR / Production Supervisor or his designate.
- Coordinate daily maintenance and repair work, CFTs, shutdowns, isolations and planned maintenance.
- Ensure PTW and associated certificates for a specific job are acknowledged, signed before being issued and closed out.
- Participate in safety audits and programs; an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and monitor dosage rates of process fluids/gas efficiently. Report variances in the chemical usage and inventory into related logbooks.
- Record and maintain comprehensive field log sheets, highlight any anomalies to Production Supervisor and suggest improvements.
- Assist Production Supervisor in checking and maintaining registers, Field Log sheets, Chemical inventory, Daily activity reports, CHS/CHRA/MSDS, and checking of Material received on board as per quality and raise non-conformance if required
- Perform oil & produced water quality testing when required.
- Monitor pipework and equipment condition via visual inspection and report abnormalities.
- Perform and maintain good housekeeping at all topside areas.
- Charging of chemicals and lube oils into system as required.
- Carry out routine checks of process parameter and Equipment, highlight to CCR any anomalies.
- Perform isolation of equipment as per PTW & Isolation guidelines for safe handover for maintenance.
- Provide adequate field training to new joiners and trainees.
- Responsible for safe routine changeover of field equipment’s by following standard operating procedures.
- Getting familiar with Laboratory equipment & testing procedures.
