**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**

Singapore Art Museum opened in 1996 as the first art museum in Singapore. Also known as SAM, we present contemporary art from a Southeast Asian perspective for artists, art lovers and the art curious in multiple venues across the island, including a new venue in the historic port area of Tanjong Pagar.

SAM is building one of the world's most important public collections of Southeast Asian contemporary art, with the aim of connecting the art and the artists to the public and future generations through exhibitions and programmes. SAM is working towards a humane and sustainable future by committing to responsible practices within its processes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Biennale Office is responsible of the project management and coordination of the Singapore Biennale. The team works with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project deliverables. As a Production Executive you will be responsible for all artist and artwork related management, inclusive of installation, maintenance, and deinstallation of artworks as well as implementation of artist-led programmes. The desired commitment period is till May 2026.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organise and executive the exhibition set up and maintenance, logistics, fabrication and artwork installation and deinstallation.
- Support in the operational coordination and execution of artist-led programmes.
- Liaise with the appointed artists and curators.
- Assist in the preparation and assessment of vendor quotations and tenders.
- Review and keep up with current trends and best practices that may have an impact on exhibition/project planning, logistics and museum management issues.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field of contemporary arts and exhibition and production management. Prior experience with public art presentations and exhibitions will be an advantage.
- Versatility and eagerness to pick up various technologies relevant to artwork presentations/visual displays will be an advantage.
- Must demonstrate knowledge in and passion for contemporary art.
- Must be able to work independently and be a good team player.
- Must be able to manage several deadlines simultaneously.
- Have a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills to work with people at all levels.
- Proactive and resourceful, willingness to be on the move and work in a fast-paced environment.
