It has several new and exciting programmes utilising cutting edge cloud and container technologies, with a view to ensuring that our cyber security is best in class and offers reassurance to our wider business lines and clients alike. **The job**: This role sits within the Cloud Security team which is responsible for Private and Public Cloud Security, Container Security as well as strategic Secrets products. As we look to expand our programme, we are creating a consolidated SRE team that will work across our portfolio of products. As a member of the SRE team, you will be responsible for working towards our SRE strategy and operating model, as the team embarks on a multiyear transformation journey. Engineering excellence and secure by design are important principles for our CISO organisation. You will raise the bar on both our existing products but also the frameworks and capabilities that are engineered within the SRE team. Partnership and collaboration are key. You will work closely with the existing Engineering and Operations teams, building out the SRE capability alongside evangelising SRE best practice and techniques for the wider organisation. Reducing TOIL will be paramount to your success. **What the role covers**: - Working across Container products and Secrets products, across Public and Private Cloud, as well as Cloud native specific products - Architecting and building tools and platforms that provide capabilities for SRE. - Collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners across Engineering and Operations as well as partner teams within the wider Citi organisation - Actively owning production level incidents till resolution **Job Skills/ Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience - 3+ years of relevant work experience - Highly motivated self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to communicate efficiently. - Certification or formal training in site reliability engineering concepts and practices would be beneficial. - Prior experience working towards SLIs, SLOs and observability capabilities. - 2+ years experience in Python alongside Linux based scripting languages. - Experience working on observability, logging and metrics toolsets: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Elk. - Experience of k8s and container technologies: Docker, Openshift and EKS - Experience with public cloud technologies: AWS, GCP or Azure. - Experience with Secrets products: HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk - Hands-on Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Tekton, Harness, Jenkins or equivalent. - Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible. - Highly effective navigating large and complex organisations - Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. - Experience working in CISO or security led organisations desirable but not essential.**Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Systems & Engineering - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
