**Team Lead, Lengkok Bahru Social Mobility Program (Prototype)
We are looking for a purposeful leader to develop and implement a holistic support offering for families and children living in rental communities and optimizing the program for achieving social mobility for the families. The initial prototype will be planned in Lengkok Bahru, where South Central FSC has a satellite FSC. The Team Lead will steward and develop a team of family and community workers to establish relationship and trust in the communities and with the families. This is an ambitious program and we are seeking a leader who has the expertise in delivering community and family work, demonstrated ability to design and deliver high impact programs and the attitude to work in collaboration internally with other program teams as well as co-ordinating efforts with internal and external stakeholders such other community or grassroots organisation, in order to enable the SCC’s mission of _Poverty Transformation. _

The Team Lead is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the Program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement the LB program to deliver holistic support to enable social mobility for families in the context of a test-bed rental community, as part of contributing to the achievement of SCC organisational objectives and targets
- To deliver this through One Team - Family Workers supported by Specialist teams enabling Social Work, Education, Livelihoods and Home Ownership, and Corporate Services team as backbone
- Responsible for the design planning, development, delivery and overseeing the LB program
- To lead and supervise a team of family workers and deliver an effective organising and community strategy
- Engage in strategic planning and execution of the long-term strategy for the program; working with SCC leadership to agree a common flow of clients’ journey across LB site processes, services, and data monitoring system to proactively monitor initiative successes and implement continual improvements on timely basis
- Set up key processes, protocols and co-ordination between Family Workers and the other specialist working teams in the organisation.
- Foster a culture of monitoring, learning and prioritising efforts to outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- At least a degree with relevant discipline, preferably social sciences related
- Strong leadership skills and a growth mindset, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position
- Ability to motivate, mentor and steward team members
- Strategic thinking & planning skills, ability to develop plans, budgets, and resources
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in the social sector or related field
- Knowledgeable and passionate about working with local rental communities, able to work alongside with families with children and open to direct engagement with families
- Able to operate effectively in a dynamic and fluid work environment
- People oriented, strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen focus on execution excellence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good cross-organisational collaborative skills and project management skills
- Familiar with Asset-based Community-led Development Approach and other social work/ community engagement practices
