- As the VP of Engineering you will be responsible for establishing the technical vision for AWSt infrastructure at the intersection of Web2 and Web3. The VP of Engineering will be leading the execution of the product roadmap and all aspects of the company's technology development.- We are looking for a proven technology leader who has scaled products from Seed to Series B stages of a company’s growth, with expertise in leading and managing people as well as the full software development cycle that includes multiple products, quality assurance, product management, infrastructure and DevOps.- The VP of Engineering will be working directly with the CEO and CPO on business and product strategy, to craft and execute our tech vision with Singapore-based and remote tech teams.- Ideally, you’re knowledgable about Web3 and passionate about how NFTs will change the way people express and interact with one another, both in the real world and in the digital one.- Why Join Us?

- Recruit, interview, hire, and train tech talent in the department- Manage Singapore-based and remote tech teams, as well as 3rd-party service providers- Build a good culture of excellence in all aspects of technical development- Ensure high performance, motivation and productivity within the teams- Grow future leaders by continually investing in the personal and professional growth of your team- Product Planning and Technical Vision
- Develop technical aspects of AWSt’s strategy to ensure a leading accessible Web3 stack- Drive and communicate the company’s technology agenda during key meetings and when making technical hiring decisions- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape, especially revolving Web3- Develop deep working relationships with leading platforms and partners- Take initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity- Plan technology expansion to worldwide markets- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture- Ensure proper technical documentation- Execution
- Have a strong command of the software development process- Maintain a good balance between morale and output- Adopt effective metrics to track progress and performance- Maintain composure while navigating the chaos of a startup environment: changing strategic directions, limited resources, constant influx or customer issues, feature requests, integration requirements, etc.- Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in a tech role and 4 years managerial experience- Demonstrated track record of tech leadership- Experience building scalable tech stacks- Experience in Series A or Series B stage companies- Exceptional team management skills- Hands on experience with complex project management- Ability to delegate effectively- Hands-on experience with Web3 technologies- Experience building public-facing APIs- Tech stack: API layer, Next.js, Solidity- Infrastructure: AWS, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Polygon- How to Apply-
